High Speed Balancing Facility
We installed the piping for 2 separate oil lubrication systems, the vacuum system, hydraulics as well as cooling water and basic utilities.
We also set and piped 16 process equipment modules.
- The balancing facility is a 60 ft long by 20 ft tall octagon surrounded by 7ft of concrete and 580 tons of rebar and a steel building to hold the equipment required to run the steam turbine and generator field tests
- Fabricated and installed over 1,500 feet of stainless pipe ranging in size from ½” to 16”
- Extensive use of prefabrication allowed us to complete the on site piping in a short time frame
Our attention to quality and cleanliness kept testing and flushing time to a minimum.
